Two layers of Renovo and I'm still not getting that advertisement quality beading. With a hosepipe I do get some beading initially but then it just turns to this. The roof and car doesn't leak so it's a minor annoyance but I was certainly expecting better after cleaning it thoroughly and following the instructions to the letter.

How have you Boxster owners gone about this and what products did you use?

Yes I also used Fabsil and used a clean paint brush running along the weave in both directions to clear out any moss / dirt and my hood never leaked, though the car lived out over three winters.

This everytime, also clean the roof before applying with soapy water or Miltons solution and allow to thoroughly dry.

That's normal. And no leaks = no issue.

You telling me the advertising lies? biggrin

But yes, no leaks at all anyway but I was hoping for a bit more. Once it's been on for a while and needs a top up I'll clean it again a few times and then try another option and compare.
