Car was registered in the UK from new, Canadian built factory rhd car, I've known this car for years, been local to us since the 70's, going to be getting some recommissioning done shortly, it's been stored since 1989, hope you like ??

So much more stylish than earlier Pontiac (Chevy in drag) cars - what engine?

These Canadian cars were built on chevy platforms, it's basically a 66 impala underneath, most rhd cars were destined for Australia, New Zealand or South Africa, this i believe was sold by Lendrum + Hartman in London who were gm dealers, car has a 283 small block chevy engine, i believe all the Parisienne convertibles had this engine in the UK cars however I doubt there would have been many brought it, Lendrum + Hartman had a huge client list, TV and film stars, BBC bosses, dj's, musicians etc, the cars were hugely expensive in the 60's, it would be amazing to find out who owned it new, my guess would be someone connected with the music industry with the original plate reading NM VIBE 👍👍

Excellent.

The only issue with these is the uniqueness of all the panels/trim, very few if any US Pontiac parts will fit, so VERY hard to find any replacement bits if needed.

Hoping I won't need any, the good thing is the interior is good, roof is needing replacement but they're available in the us, same as catalina, frame and floors are good too,

Great car.

I believe that might be what someone in the next road to me has. Its very much that shape but metallic blue with a cream interior. Normally under a cover on his drive so I've never been able to ID it properly.

Occasionaly he comes up our hill with the V8 rumbling.
