Hi, can you confirm whether the corrosion on the sill seams has been inspected professionally or just noted visually?

The Car went for a pre MOT Inspection at the garage that carried out the last service. The photographs taken by the pistonheads photographer showed signs of surface corrosion at the rear of the car. I asked the Garage to inspect and carry out any work they considered necessary. The corrosion was only surface rust and was removed and then Lanogarded. I’m happy for you to contact the garage for them to confirm state of the underside and also happy to arrange any inspection prior to sale. Photographs on the auction site show before and after the work was carried out.

Sorry for any confusion, I am referring to images 164, 165, 166, and 167.

The sill rust is visible but hard to gauge the full extent of it if the outer sill hasn't been taken off.

The sills have not been removed the garage reported that it was surface rust only, which they removed and treated. The following pictures 168 to 173 were taken after that process

These cars are really starting to look good and beginning to come into their own, always a nice looking car but time is being very kind to them IMO.

Is there a reserve or does it sell at the final bid regardless? Sorry if this is obvious. I cannot see this information.

Hello, yes there is a set reserve on this car.

Once the reserve has been met or exceeded the car will sell to the highest bidder.
