Now, I'm sure this has been asked (and answered) before, but what is the score with replacement keys for Givi panniers?

I've just bought another 1990's shonker that has come with a Givi wingrack, two monokey panniers and a monokey topbox; the topbox has keys, the panniers don't.

I have the codes for the locks on the panniers but they are both in the 800's and everyone advertising keys on ebay only goes up to 200 (or occasionally 400).

Does anyone do keys for higher codes without needing a photo of the key?

I found it easier to buy replacement locks, with new keys.

Call Key2Code or Replacement Keys Ltd and explain you have the codes but no existing key. They might be able to help identify which key type you need based on the age and model of your panniers.

Nothing that can’t be fixed with a drill and a 8mm bit or a screwdriver and hammer.

Hire a lock picker, can't imagine they're particularly difficult. Probably a 10 second job for lock picking lawyer

Find a good old fashioned locksmith

There's a brilliant one near me in Coventry (southern stronghold) he charged me £12 to pick the lock and make a key for panniers

No luck with Replacement Keys, they don't stock the blanks so can't help.

Still waiting to hear back from Key2Code but fingers crossed.

Have you tried contacting GiviUK? They're not a retail outlet, but can be quite helpful - info@givi.co.uk

That's a good shout, I've just pinged them an email.
