Thermostat not working?
Discussion
Hi I have a wireless thermostat to my boiler and I think the receiver has stopped working as the transmitter seems fine.
I don’t seem to have a manual override for the CH on the boiler so wondered can I simply connect the wires together which go into the boiler to test if it’s the boiler or the receiver?
Here’s inside the boiler. Can I just bridge those left 2 together to turn the CH on?

Or will I blow myself up

RTFM.
The manual for most boilers can be found online.
It will show what connections start the boiler.
Thanks but you’re missing my question. I know these are the connectors. What I’m asking is will just putting a wire between them bridge it and turn the boiler on. What sort of voltage is going through a thermostat or literally is it just a trigger? The manual for most boilers can be found online.

If these connections were not used before, they may be over-ridden by the opentherm or whatever.
