Cobra Alarm Synchronising

Can anyone help me out with synchronisng a new Cobra key fob on a S2 elise (cobra 8185)?

I have done what the S2 lotus hand book says and it does not seam to work.

I have then followed the instructions in the S1 hand book and managed to syncronise it the alarm on my S1 and it works fine.

In the S1 hand book it talks about having the car mobilised and ignition on.

In the S2 manual there is no mention of this which seams a bit odd. If the description is correct someone could just walk up to the car and syncronise their key fob with your car.

I have tried the S1 way on the S2 but this doesn't seam to work either.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Page 22 of 06de1425b.pdf is the one you want. As long as you have the PIN its fairly straight forward.
