Bringing back the old days early morning "run"

Following the news that yet another of the old PH crew has passed away in the lounge, and the comments of a poster on his RIP thread I'm reminded that physical meets have gone from being fairly regular to rare on here. For me at least.

I remember some great nights out around York and Leeds, cinema nights in Leeds and tunnel runs and some outstanding early morning runs. Well the cinema nights are probably a lot of work, I don't fancy being billy no mates on a night out if no-one turns up, but I don't care if I go for a pleasant drive early one Sunday morning.

So is anyone up for it, can't be for a couple of weeks as I've got a bit on, but if we want one Sunday the 6th or 13th of July I will throw one together.

Nice early start, start location central but East Yorkshire (probably not far from Howden/Selby etc.) taking in some nice roads, find somewhere for breakfast at the end.

I’m not sure I have an appropriate car, but I’d be interested in a run again (that said, the pre-Motorist drive with giveitfish was the most fun I’ve had in a car in ages).

No can do, as work weekends now.

Obviously selected few do get booked off, but difficult to make it happen.

I'm not the best socially but know I need to try and work on this so I'd be interested in being pencilled in for anything going forward, the 13th might not be one I can do though.

My car's crap too but if it's running I'll try and coax it out for a drive.

I've noticed The Motorist have started making more noise about Wednesday evenings recently if that works better for those unable to do weekends but obviously it doesn't need to have a specific destination to work.
