As a newbe I can only make 1 message per 24h, so sorry to combine.
When I bought my Chimaera 400 it did not past emesions test, so it will not receive a MOT.
CO was high, same as HC and lambda, engine doesn'r run smooth, it has some misfires / engine shakes a lot.
recentlly went to my garage and tested it @ idle: CO 1.7, Co2 10, HC 2140, O2 5.2 & lambda 1.12, then I tested @2500rpm CO 0.84, Co2 14.2, HC 218, O2 1 & lambda 1.01
Today I was checking what i can with limited tools, do not have 4 gas tester or rovergauge.
all the egnition parts seems to be OK, only spark plug will neet 1 grade hotter: from 7 to 6. it also show signs of rich fuel.
Cabels rotor and cap are in good shape and only a few years old / low miles.
Cleaned the air flow meter, butterfly valve and stepper motor, all with no effects
Pulling off the connector of the injectors dit not have much effect, only when I disconect 3 injectors it went worse, elswise no clear effect when removing just 1.
what could be the most suspisious in this case?
I'm overthinking to re new the injectors (also upgrade to 4 jets), not sure if it will be the cure but I get a bit of trail and error.
If I demount the plenum, do i need to re new some gaskets or can you use the old one's?

As I live in the Netherlands, are there some good parts shops for TVR in mainland europe?
Ordering in UK is more complicated (and expensive) due to the brexit.
I will need defentlly flat blade wipers + spray nozzels, several bits and pieces of interiour, spark plugs, injectors, oil filter, coolant hoses, etc..
Would be easy if I can order it here to avoid taxes.

Rovergauge would be helpfull, but when I read about it I see several issues for me.
The cable is not offered or only a few,and you need to tweak with computers (im not handy and not really intersted in computers).
Do I need to invest in this or can it be done in a easier way?

Thank you and ejoy your day.

Do you still have the plug extenders fitted.

Try running without them. Use cable ties to prevent ignition cables touching exhaust.
If successful look for a permanent solution without them
Benn discussed plenty of times on here

There is ACS Pro in Germany as source for any TVR parts https://www.acs-pro.de/

For Rover V8 parts you can try velar in Germany as well https://www.velar.de/ueber-uns/wir-ueber-uns

Misfires are very common on these cars so you need to get that side of things right before anything else really.
Aftermarket parts are generally rubbish, items such as distributor cap, rotor and ignition amplifiers need to be purchased with care.
Extenders as suggested can be removed, leads need to be arranged so they dont foul the manifolds but this can be done with some cable ties and some care.
Dont go throwing needless parts at it as you can get yourself into an even deeper mess.

It's worth getting Rovergauge, it's actually very simple to get it working (there's only one setting to make).
That might tell you more about what the sensors are reading, and therefore rich fuelling.
There is only one source I believe - eBay:
https://ebay.us/m/yMfA4H

With the injectors experiment you made, you could check the wiring connections into each injector - sounds like some of them aren't working!
Some people have had PAS fluid leak into the back of the injectors on that side of the engine, which causes problems.
Then if you want to change the injectors, fine, but check the wiring first.

If you take the plenum off, it's worth putting a new seal on it, as you definitely don't want air/vacuum leaks.
