That's just an assault isn't it? Bodyguard moves first, uses excess force which could have ended badly, and ultimately he's just some random bloke on the street so it's not like he has any scope that covers his actions.

I suppose he needed to take decisive action considering he was dealing with more than one threat, and he had both the cameraman plus the influencer (? me neither ) to cover who had continued to move away.

Not really, then again if I was going to give someone a slap I probably wouldn't have posted my own video of it happening.

As it is despite the victim deserving it, I'm not going to jump and think some no-mark YouTuber and his 'bodyguard' can just wander around and hand out slaps and high kicks on the street whoever is on the receiving end. They might be the latest to discover how expensive that habit can get.

Though the cynic in me would wonder - given how hot the day was - whether the whole thing was just a setup to get views. Has that whiff of not quite being real.

Drama starts at 33:00 minutes.

Balaclava lad is seen involved in an altercation with an older man, which Charles films.
Everything de-escalates after about a minute.

At 37:00, Balaclava lad catches up with Charles (possibly with friends) and seems to ask for the video evidence back.

I watched the video last night. That take down was very impressive!
What a sign of the times when it's no longer safe for a Youtuber to be on the streets without a body guard. Mind you, Charlie does go above and beyond to get a reaction. I do think he's pushing his luck somewhat!
