Replacement Head Unit - 2006 P2 V70

Worth checking first, so TIA

I’m looking to replace the head unit on my V70 with an up to date version with spotify, maps etc.

Lots of options out there, but keen to seen if any recommendations from V70 owners who have had the replacement done already (including fitting as I am useless doing it myself). I’m worcestershire based.

If that car is anything like the v50/v40s that I have had previously it is all but impossible.

It's not, super easy, any double din will do it, ebay.......you do need a connector from Audio Leads I think to keep the wheel controls

i had a pioneer unit fitted to my 05 v70 just before christmas, also had a dab aerial stuck to the windscreen and the controls on the steering wheel work (vol/track change)

i found a guy who lives about 40 doors down who does it for a living, so had the old unit taken out and new one put in with new facia all for 620 quid

was with him 2hrs i reckon.

it has android auto and apple car play (i have android) so i use waze/spotify etc etc with no bother.

should have done it a while ago!
oh and it takes and receives calls too (mic installed near sun visor)
