Camper van, van life insurance
Discussion
I see all these conversion vlogs on the web and always wonder about insurance.
A lot of mods, and the bigger question: If this is your home too, how do you get insurance with no 'proper' home address?
And most insurance says that you have up to 90 days a year cover in Europe.
Just questions as I suddenly thought that I had had a great idea.
No work, rent is too much, buy a Transit, give away all my stuff, head to Southern Spain/Portugal.
Take a tent and my camping gear. Camping bed for van. No conversion.
So who do I go to for insurance as the meerkats won't help

Even in southern Spain/Portugal's Algarve you will need insulation......
Condensation is your enemy, you need to convert cold surfaces such as steel and glass into warm surfaces.
Steel is almost easy, you line out with that nylon fabric that moulds to the surface, glass, you need to isolate the cab from the living area, a curtain is a good starting point but you will need decent sucker on blinds.
A warm, willing woman also helps!
