I will be going to Oulton Park for the BTCC on saturday, and going with my 4 year old son who has a broken leg. He is in his old puschair at the moment as a make-shift wheelchair.

Does anyone have any experience of Oulton in terms of the best accessible places to view? I've been before but a few years ago and remember a lot being grass and wondered how bumpy etc it would be to get him around?

Thanks in advance smile

I've not been to Oulton for the BTCC but assume it will be as busy as British GT or The Gold Cup in which case I'd get there as early as possible and either hope you can get a parking spot on the hill in the centre in which case you won't need to move too far from the car.

Other options would be to avoid the main entrance and enter via Knickerbrook or Lodge which are usually less busy and you can usually park up with a good view of the track plus you are reasonably close to toilets, food outlets. Either way I'd still aim to get there not long after the gates open.

Might be worth emailing the circuit directly and and asking their advice

If you're only going on the Saturday it should be pretty quiet, so the main entrance will be best. You can look around the paddock much more easily.
Paths around most of the circuit are stony and dusty.

With the good weather, Sunday will be heaving, Oulton is very popular for the BTCC.
If you're coming then, Brittens and Knickerbrook entrances at the back of the circuit will get you decent views without having to go too far.
