How to access Microsoft chat with a human

Guys, need some help. My computer got zapped by a Windows update, which required a visit to my local computer guru's shed to reload it. (Brilliant guy for the record.) I'm now locked out of my Office 365 account ( I've recently paid my yearly subscription of £84.99 ) because I can't remember my password. Microsoft directs me to change my password, but this won't work because the email I used when I created the account I deleted a while ago. I've used the Microsoft help form, but despite answering about 100 questions to identify myself, they say it's not enough. I need now to have an online chat with a Microsoft agent, but it seems as if this is almost impossible. Does anyone here know how I can achieve this?
