So it looks as though I’ll be in a position to buy my first Ferrari in the next 12 months the it so.

I’m around 95% I want a F430 spider.

Budget £70-80k, a lot of these cars don’t seem to be moving / selling at the moment?

Use is appx 3k pa, I’ve ran an Aston / Maserati in the past, I’m assuming it’ll be more on par with the Maserati in terms of running costs.

That is the car in question, it’s had a new clutch, new roof yet no mention of history.

The main issue I have read about is the manifolds cracking, assume by now they would have cracked / been replaced?

I only need two seats, a 570S was on my list but feels a bit too clinical and is not n/a, it’ll be replacing a much more modern 5.0 manual Mustang (albeit I will keep another manual car).

Anything else I need to think about or consider? I have not driven one as of yet.

If you go to the dealers website rather than autotrader the service history is shown in the advert. Looks like it was in storage for quite a few years.

Stretch to a 2008 model onwards, new headers, F1 box better calibration and steering changes, are the ones I remember baczk in the day. CCM standard but that might not be what you want now 17 years old. For me my late 2005 Coupe to 2008 Coupe felt different, 2008 better.

Agree on the post 2008 but I can’t seem to find anything definitive on CCM life, it seems (as expected) to be wholly dependent upon previous usage and as they are coming up to 20 years old …

In terms of value for money spending 25% of the cars value on discs / pads seems a poor return, are the steels a straight swap?
