Just spotted elsewhere that Tesla have reduced their charging prices, which is handy.

I don't drive a Tesla, but I'm visiting one of their open to all super charger sites in Dartford next week. Without a subscription, the price is now 51p peak (40p off peak), 37p with subscription (30p off peak).

Mustn't grumble.

Off peak at some locations (e.g. Glasgow central) cheaper than my home non off peak rate with Octopus. Seems very good value even if the off peak charge is at times I’d not likely use on the rare occasion I might need a public charger. Good spot though thanks for sharing

Enjoy it! For me, the prices just went up!

Its now 62c / kWh for the chargers around me!

Its half that to charge at home. It was 52c, then 48c and previously as low as 30c (though the demand pricing put paid to that one). Just did the calculations - thats effectively the same price as using petrol. My diesel BMW is cheaper than using a supercharger.

Its a convenience thing I know. But this doesn't make a lot of sense. And with the proposed $250 a year 'EV tax', for many, running an EV doesn't make a lot of sense.

In the UK we can charge for 10c /kWh off peak (overnight).

Yes, but you'd be in a diesel BMW confused.

Not sure what the point is in the US when petrol is so cheap and the distances so big.

That said I would like a Lucid.

That's pretty good, even using the supercharger network for all your charging would be cheaper than all but the most economical ICE cars.
