Roof cleaning product recommendation sought - tree gum?
Discussion
A stronger shampoo and hot water is where i would start, if your not fussy about your cars washing up liquid would do but its not the best thing to use on car paint but it wont harm it.
Garage Therapy do a decon shampoo which is very good and used for a deeper clean but again if you not fussy its probably a waste of money.
Meguiars wash plus is another worth a look if you can get it.

Hi
My Nissan Pathfinder has a fairly grotty roof - hard baked green coloured rough discoloration
Not going anywhere with your average car wash
Any recommendations of a good product to attack and shift that?
Appreciated thanks

As a one-off only, I would suggest a faiirly aggressive alloy wheel cleaner. They can cause harm if used often, but it’s worth a risk provided that you then protect the paint with a conventional polish such as autoglym. If you can be bothered to keep up the ordinary polishing regime, the Pathfinder will be much easier to wash quickly. My Nissan Pathfinder has a fairly grotty roof - hard baked green coloured rough discoloration
