Hi all. I finished a DIY spray job at the weekend. It went well for my first atemp, well i am happy with it but for the nibs of crap stuck in the clear coat.

So i am near done getting them pout and using G3 Advanced to get it good again after the flatting. There are so many polishes now i am lost to go for a good one, maybe Ceramic ?

These are what i am looking at, or are there better/easier ones.

Meguiars M20508

3M Fine Compound Fast Cut 09375

All i want is a way to help it looking ok and clean.

Cheers wink

Does it really need any more polishing?
If not a wipe down with a panel wipe product to remove residue and then apply a wax, something like Autoglym HD wax or Fusso coat.
You could ceramic coat it if you wanted, depends how fussy you are but they are a bit harder to apply.
You would need to consider letting the paint/clear fully cure before before coating it.

It needed a full wet n dry so once so i had to give it a full flatteing of all the nibs and i needed to give it a wet n dry and compound. the pics are of when i finished painting it. To be honest tonight i got my HD polisher out and its come up great now. Better than the DA, well quicker.
Just want to protect it once all buffed up,.

Its almost impossible to recommend products these days as there are so many, if you like waxing a car every 6 months or so then something like Autoglym HD wax is very good.
Gyeon can coat evo is another good product from a company at the top of their game.
If your happy with the finish maybe a longer pro applied ceramic may be the way to go, I have not tried a diy offering so cant really advise on that but again there are many to choose from.
There are lots of spray on wipe off products around too if ultimate durability is not a concern, one I use and love on my own garage queen is Garage Therapy Sigma V3, which is like a detailing spray on steroids, and leaves a lovely finish.
