Will these alloys fit an R107 SLC?
Discussion
Thinking about a set of 16" penta alloys for a 380SLC.
However saw these 17" AMG replicas and wondered if they would fit?
17" tyres probably also have more choice.
They are 8x17 and 9.5x17.

First question would be: Do they fit the hub (stud pattern)?
Then, what size are the existing wheels? Diameter, width, offset, tyre size(s)?

The standard alloys on it are;
6.5x14
205/70/14 tyres
Tire
Rim
Offset range
mm
OE205/70VR14 6.5Jx14 ET30 28 - 32
OE205/65VR15 7Jx15 ET25 23 - 27
That much increase in width may well give you problems with wheel arch and/or suspension clearance.
Also what size tyres were you thinking of?
Potentially a 245 would fit the wheels, but to maintain the rolling circumference you would need a 40 or 45 profile. Maybe a 225 would be okay, with a profile of 45.

Yeh the rubbing was my concern. Had thought 225 on the front and 245 rear. Also what size tyres were you thinking of?
