Hello,

I have just booked F1 tickets for tomorrow’s race at Monaco.
Going there and back in a day.

They are sending me E tickets which is all fine, but in my F1 account it states ,

“dashboard

Your tickets will be available for download 1-2 weeks before the event. For last minute orders please allow approx. 48 hours for the tickets to be generated.”

Obviously I just booked them, so what happens if it doesn’t appear in time for tomrrow? Is there somewhere I can go to get said ticket ?

Also any advice about getting from Nice to Monaco would be good. I have 3 hrs to get to Stand K.

Thanks

There’s a ticket office on Rue Grimaldi, at the ACM office (behind Ste. Devote). Turn up there with ID if your e-ticket hasn’t arrived when you get to Monaco.

No worries, enjoy the day!

Not jealous, definitely not at all!

BTW there’s a train from Nice to Monaco.

Edit: Your stand K is right next to the ticket office, and just accross the road from the station.

Isn’t helicopter the fastest way from nice, and also not stupidly expensive?

I have 3 hours from nice to Monaco and my flight home isn’t until 2130 local time so time should be ok.

I’ve heard the train is a nightmare and was going to book a Blade flight to get there but the price is now 1k Euro.

I’ll make a call on the ground. May even get a taxi.

First time doing this and was a last minute decision.

Never done a race or been to Monaco.

We are living vicariously through you OP, please let us know how it goes including the travel (preferably if using helicopter).

Update.

I’m sat on my flight somewhere over France heading to Nice, so far all good.

Left Edinburgh at 0600, well we were mean to, but it was held up for 20 mins. With a 60 min connection window at CDG it was squeaky bum time.

Landed at CDG and fired into terminal 2E. I had to get to 2F and was told on the app it was 35 mins away so at risk of not being allows to board.

I had nothing to worry about, fast exit, got walked for 20 mins , had to scan my passport 6 times for the gates to work , finally got to my gate with 10 mins spare.

Next mission is from Nice airport to Monaco. Saw a fully liveried up, Irish Red Bull fan and got talking to him. He said taxi or train is fine with the time I had left.

So going to pop to the blade counter and ask if they will budge down from the €999 current ticket price. If not I’ll get there somehow and chopper it back to Nice as that’s when the congestion gets super crazy I believe.

Oh, my e-ticket arrived as I landed at CDG so no need to print that off at the ticket office , more time saved.

Try Heliair Monaco to see if they have any availability. From memory it’s 7 min to Nice airport. It’s the best way to avoid the chaos !

Just got a return trip , by helicopter , for €1k in person at the airport.

It’s first come first served.

Sounds fun! You might get to Monaco to catch the Porsche race which is, err, somewhat delayed.

So just missed it.

Helicopters when flying are fast.

They are not fast to get on during f1 weekend.

From paying to landing in Monaco it’s was best part of an hour.

Top tip, the online price was €2000 return. I asked at the Blade desk and got a return for €950. Which was good timing as there was some train chaos due to the power cut that hit nice .

Anyone thinking about doing it, do it.

Going to watch live has really ruined it now for me.
