I’m in the market for a BIG suv - Touareg or x5?

Hi, wondering if I can start a debate and potentially be swayed toward one of these 2 vehicles.

I’m in the market for a LARGE suv, and have narrowed it down to a e70 x5 or 7p Touareg.

Both fit the bill nicely in terms of size and performance, but what is the better of the two?

I’ve usually stuck with bmw, I currently have a 330d f31, but have been told the v6 tdi is a much more refined motor and delivers power lovely.

Has anyone gone from one to the other? Or currently owning, and can give me some insights?

My sister has a 2014 Touareg 3.0TDI. They love it. Had it about 4 years and going to buy another soon.

It seems fond of rear springs though they do tow a bit with it and i suspect they're just getting motor factor ones fitted.

You'd definitely get a fresher Touareg for your money than X5.
