I've borrowed a colour scanner to capture the colour of an area of the car that is not on the road and the part cannot be unbolted.

I need to give the code to a paint supplier to mix the colour given, in this cse a CEI-LAB code which is the native output of the scanner.

From the bit of searching round, most places seem to want to provide the nearest RAL, Pantone or Automotive code match, which is not what I want.

I want the actual colour mixing to the code provided, but can't find anyone who does this.

Any ideas how I get the actual colour mixed and not a close equivalent?

Some places that supply body shops are able to mix and supply aerosols. Find your nearest and call

Thanks, I have looked at these but I need the colour matching, whereas these will be close, but not quite.

That's the plan when they open, but thought I'd see if any online suppliers could help.

More research has confirmed that there is a RAL code that is damn near perfect match, so have ordered that - it's only for underneath (concourse restoration) but I want it to be 'correct'.

If it needs to be 'correct', then the word is "concours".
