Touareg 3.0 TDI 2008 crankshaft sensor location
Discussion
Hi, looking for some help to find sensor location. I also have a 2010 Q7, which VW say is the same CASA engine code.
Crankshaft sensor on Q7 is easy to replace, in behind passenger front wheel. Have seen all sorts of different suggestions for the Touareg, which seem pretty.. like the signal..implausible, my own suspicion is that it is very near the flywheel, VW do like to bury sensors.
Can anyone confirm if I am on the right track, as an octogenarian I don’t want to be rolling about under the beast, if I don’t have to, thanks all, for your time
