Samsung camera latest update

I've recently updated my phone to the latest version and it's changed the camera settings. If I use 200M or 50M it doesn't appear to be as clear as the 12M which seems backwards to me. Has anyone else noticed this since the latest update? I normally am really pleased with the standard photos from my Samsung s24 but this update seems to have ruined them. Am I just doing something wrong?
