996 seat options

Hi all,
I have installed the Porsche Classic steering wheel which is great both visually and in use. The issue is that as it's smaller than the factory 996 wheel, so it is really obscuring the view of the instrument cluster - POV picture below.

I really need to fit sets that are 2/3 inches lower, if not more. My seats are standard 996.2 seats and have quite a bit of wear in them to the extent they are already sitting an inch or more than seats with less wear.

Any suggestions appreciated!

I once read that the Targa seat cushion is a couple of cms thinner than the Coupe.
