The G87 M2 CS just dropped officially:

I saw it at a preview event last night, looks good in the flesh.

Any one else have a pre-order in or interested in the CS?

530hp and 650nm giving 0-60 in 3.8

I think it should have been xdrive good luck getting that power/torque to the road, I think they are planning an xdrive comp at some point though probably with 510hp so the line up will 480/510/530 maybe a CSL with the M4CS tune at 550

I've got my name on the 'list' but still not yet confirmed if I'll get one... Did take delivery of this LCI last week with the CS lightweight Alloys and I'll have to put up with the 480BHP for the time being...drivingthumbup

Correct, these are genuine CS Alloys but ordered through Autoid who have been superb and very knowledgeable.

Is the M2CS a difficult car to get hold of Craig? I put in my request to my BMW dealer a couple of years ago and I have the F87 M2CS. I didn't think the new car was particularly limited and looking at the forums it does seem like demand is quite low.

Just had confirmation that I have been offered the M2CS and I am going to proceed with the allocation. Waiting to see the car at Goodwood before finalising the specification. I am a little disappointed that the calipers aren't gold with the ceramic brake option and the rear calipers are basic single piston calipers and not the old style 4 pots.

Followed your posts on this, also having a M240 and now getting a LCI M2. The dealer also spoke to me re a CS but absent of details when I ordered the M2 went with that. I'm also minded to get the same wheels as yours given I'm not normally a huge fan of black wheels. Ordered mine with Race Pack and the seats are certainly a departure from the normal ones!

Whilst I think the CS looks great the discounts available on the M2 made it a bit of a leap.

I do tend to agree with you. I'm just not sure the CS is special enough for the money when i know there will not be a penny of the CS and no guarantee that they 'maybe' a final M2 CSL...? I remember that happened with the E46 M3 CS and then came along the CSL...! That's the problem with BMW now..! A least there was never any confusion with the 1M..drivingthumbup

Incorrect. For the E46, the M3 CSL came along first.

Yes you are correct..! and i have owned both aswell..hehe CSL in Sep 03 and a CS in Jan 06.. But my point remains the same with BMW, and I'm unsure that the M2 CS is not going to be the ultimate model.

I always wondered if it was mostly luck when buying special cars that you were genuinely getting the ultimate and therefore most desirable variant.

I think some people got stung with the special edition Aventador's as a recent example.
