Aa can be seen by the torque figure, they actually don't have significantly more low down torque, as its a centrifugal supercharger, not a roots or lysholm twin screw. With a centrifugal type, the boost is directly proportional to RPM, so at low Rpm there is obviously little boost, with max boost coming at red line. This makes them feel very naturally aspirated and they retain a torque/ power curve very similar to original but gradually increasing on the Y axis curve as RPM goes up.

Hi there,

Interested in the car. Has it had any further modifications in additon to the supercharger? Brakes? Suspension? Is it still on the original clutch/flywheel or have these been uprated at all?

Regards

Description states the car had been undersealed. Intrigued as to why and how anyone would do that to an Elise I had a look at the underside photos. Not a drop of underseal in evidence, thankfully. There's is however quite a bit of yellow paint on the chassis where there should be none?

I had one like this, as long as the map is good you'll get a very rapid car. It weighs very little, needs no brake or suspension upgrades and is very light on wear and tear.

Back in the day I overtook a guy on a hoon in an Impreza, both of us flat out, and he couldn't believe it. He had 320bhp and I had 240bhp....but his Impreza weighed twice as much! The funniest bit was his head leaning forward for extra speed as I passed him hehe

I miss that car, incredible steering and handling, seriously quick and yet cost very little to run. What's not to like?

Checked and it all looks fine to me (as an ex owner of one for 7 years).

No. This issue has existed since I first owned the car. I've not found it to be too big an issue and just lived with it.

No further modifications. Brake pads and discus were replaced when I took ownership.
