Boot release button under dash

The button keeps jamming in and has burnt out the solenoid.

How do I remove/replace this button??

Any ideas on sourcing a replacement?

Button just pulls out.

It's just a 22mm momentary button. I picked one up from eBay for a few quid - and went for a more robust metal construct.

I needed to add a large washer either side to allow the nut something to press against (and sprayed the washer black).

Anyway, it's an option, you may prefer an alternative.
