Interesting timing, as was same day as the XM655 crew were doing a ripple rapid start (first time for 40 years a Vulcan had done that) so there were two Vulcan's making noise on the same day in the UK.

And I was making a little less noise doing the cockpit tours of XJ823 at Solway Aviation Museum all day.

Their event was Sunday, so as not to clash with ours.....

I wonder if that local NIMBY bloke complained to Southend Airport again when they did that fast taxi run? Maybe they waited until he’d gone on holiday.
