Drove past here the other day and thought we should probably have a thread on it in the local chat

I went there for the first time last month for a hatchback themed evening and enjoyed it, although being on a Wednesday there weren't huge numbers of cars there.

It's a good venue though.

Guys, bear in mind that there are average speed cameras on all the roads going to it and in the mornings BiB patrol/hideall along the A31 so watch out.

Coming back up the A31 on Sat morning, around 8am, I was held up on the dual carriageway by a BMW 1-Series, which was quite annoying until we went past BiB parking/hiding around the corner (thanks whoever that was!)! Probably saw three in total just in the run up to Alton.

Also, the northbound average speed cameras are set a long way apart and there are no signs to say when they finish. It's easy to think they have finished, pick up speed ands then sometime later come up to another one!

I've been twice. First time was dead so didn't even stop. Was a cold day in the winter. Stopped for a pint a few weeks ago Friday lunch time. There were a few cars but not much happening. To be fair I should go when an event is on.

Average speed zones are a bd on the surrounding roads.

Maybe we should get some local meets going?
