Family phone contracts
Discussion
Need a bit of help.
My children currently have Tesco pay as you go sims. I just bought the sims quickly when they first got phones but the set up is a pita as each sim requires its own app to operate rather than being able to be managed from a single app. And recently each app has decided that the sims are new and need activating.
In short, it was never good but has recently become untenable so must be changed.
At the same time, my own deal with BT has been out of contract for years so I can change anytime.
What I am ideally looking for is to move my deal to someone who will allow my children's sims to be on the same app so it's all easy to manage and I can just stick them on sensible monthly contracts that don't require me to do anything.
My understanding was that such options are manifest and typically sold as family deals but can anyone give me some pointers as to which one might be the most idiot proof? I don't want phones, don't want special offers, just a vanilla line rental for multiple phones through one app. Tia

I'm with Smarty and have just the one SIM, but in my Smarty app it says I can add up to 8 additional Sims onto the same account. All additional Sims are at a 10% discount, but they're not expensive to start with. I'm currently paying £6 a month for 12GB a month which more than covers my Android Auto music streaming on my daily commute, and the rest of the time I'm on WiFi anyway
EE do some decent family deals, or they did last summer when I redid ours. Ca £50 a month for three SIMs on 5G with decent data allowance (10gb?), unlimited calls and texts and European roaming (details from memory so may not be 100% accurate on allowances. Never run out of data or anything else so far).
We do also have EE broadband , which prob made a difference too.

I’m with Sky
Currently have 7 SIMs, costing £60/month for the lot.
Each SIM has its own data allowance but any that’s unused at the end of the month goes into a pot that can subsequently be used by any of the other SIMs.
For example one of the SIMs is free, with a 100mb allowance but I only use it in a mobile router when travelling, so prior to the trip I just send it 20gb or whatever from the pot
Sky use O2s radio network, inc 5G and also support WiFi calling etc.
