Strip of laminate wood for bathroom?
Discussion
Hi
I recently had a leak in bathroom (snigger) which has been fixed but it’s ruined a strip of laminated chipboard type ‘stuff’ along the base the bath side panel.

Strip is on the left. Yellowish colour.
I need another bit. Pure white would probably be ok.
It measures 177 x 15 x 2 cm.
Any ideas where I could get something already cut to size?
I’m s
te at diy so no chance of me trimming it neatly.
Thanks all.

Or you could buy a piece of acrylic plastic to the exact size, on the internet. Eg.

But given the size you need, you could well find a local company that would do it which would be easier than getting Evri to deliver!

This is the right answer.
Wood rots.
Wrong, correct answer is to buy a bath panel that fits without a crap piece of fillet at the bottom, it looks awful and always will. Wood rots.
I’ve fitted hundreds over the years and never had to go to the timber rack to put a piece underneath it.
