How the hell is this even a thing?

Macron denies bringing cocaine on to Kyiv train

How do some people manage to see plots absolutely everywhere?

I'm thinking tissue, but they wouldn't be the first leaders to be off their tits on coke - Ardern and Zelensky being other candidates.

The joys of social media. The ability to spread suggestions that are almost certainly fake quickly.

Strange that Russia is the past master of misinformation on social media and these stories get spread

“A lie travels half way around the world before the truth gets its boot on”

Disinformation spread by the nefarious and believed and pushed by the gullible (and stupid).

Have they really got to the level when their advertising promotes them telling us what they think, rather than what's actually happening in the world?

It's conjecture. Macron surreptitiously removes tissue from table for cameras, therefore he must be on cocaine! Ridiculous.

By chance I'm watching a TV documentary about the pop group Milli Vanilli where one of the duo uses the expression "Lies are taking the elevator while the truth takes the stairs". First time I've heard that.

Yes. It’s always been to the right but they are very single agenda focused these days. The daily mail for an A/B demographic.

I'm sure I remember them being a real newspaper but everything from them these days is just them pushing an agenda with no news to be found.

It used to be.

Only the guardian left now. I’m not aligned to their politics but they do still invest in investigative journalism.

Clear pictures show a tissue and the other reported ‘drugs paraphernalia’ is quite clearly a stick you’d get with canapés.

A scandal there isn’t!
