Ryobi Expand It to electric head?

Hi

Ive been going round in circles trying to find an answer to this and wonder if anyone else has managed to find a battery powered head unit for their Expand It attachments?

The original petrol head unit is pretty much dead and I have enough attachments to make buying the whole lot again somewhat painful

It looks like Ryobi do not sell the stand alone head any more - either petrol or battery - although they have a decent number of options if I wish to duplicate one of my tools. In theory a strimmer should do the trick and let me swap the head for my other bits of kit, I think??????

Failing that Ive read some folks, generally the US or Oz, using other branded head units without issue however Im struggling to buy those brands over here

Has anyone been through the same please?

No experience here, but while its a bit frustrating, if the interface is the same buying a complete strimmer to get a new head for the whole collection is a lot better than zero route forward.
