Currently in the early days of looking for my wife's next car, and pretty sure we can stretch to a used L460 Range Rover.
One thing is that because she has to use the lanes around us and they are overgrown and narrow every car she uses ends up with hedge rash, fine scratches along the sides.
Firstly does anyone have experience of a Paint Protection Film on a Range Rover? How much was it? Was it worth it?
Secondly does it protect adequately against hedge rash?
Thanks in advance.

Not really an option as:
1) even my daughter's 207 gets hedge rashed.
2) she wants a Range Rover.
3) the lanes in question lead to and from the stables she keeps her horse at.
I've got an L461 Sport and it's a very wide car. I love driving it for the driving I do, which is mostly up and down the M1/M69/M40. It's perfect for those roads as they are wide and the car is so comfortable1) even my daughter's 207 gets hedge rashed.

I do not like driving it on single track country lanes like the ones that you are describing because it's just too big for that to be enjoyable. If I was regularly driving on those kind of roads and wanted a Range Rover then I'd pick the Velar instead
Appreciate that doesn't answer your question though or help if even a 207 is too wide for your roads!
I have an L405, so well versed. She's kind of decided it's the answer as everything else doen't do what she wants, including tow horse boxes up said steep narrow lane, and is so nice to be in, she was looking at the new Defender but her best mate and riding buddy just bought one and that's a bit too matchy matchy apparently!

I have a 460 and commute through narrow hedge lined lanes. They are wide and it is virtually impossible to stay away from hedges. Particularly now that many approaching drivers seem intent on adopting a middle of the road position, by default. Colour choice is probably the most relevant. Stay away from the dark metallics and very little shows. I have had two in Hakuba silver and most light marks polish out.

That's good advice, my L405 is Causeway Grey which looks stunning polished but shown finger prints. Gassing Station | Land Rover | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
