BA App and British Airways App?

i was having difficulty accessing my BA account after changing email, and using the app. i uninstalled and reinstalled and also clicked get the app from there website on the phone .

i now seem to have 2 apps completely the same bar the name and ability to get in, one called british airways that i cannot log in to as it says connection issues when i try, and another, simply BA, and that doesn't even have a login and goes straight to my detailstripos etc....

i dont remember this before, googles doesn't help,the 'BA' app doesn't seem to exist in google play store either, just the British Airways one - have i had too much sun?
