Moving house and retiring. I can only comfortably fit one car into the new place. Austyn.

Hi Austyn

Can I ask why the last document picture shows an invoice dated 27-3-25 with 57,184 mileage ?
You have advertised at 51k mileage
Can you confirm which is correct
Kind regards Chris

Thanks for pointing that out, I hadn’t noticed the incorrect mileage on the invoice. The advertised mileage is correct at 51k. The current mileage is around 51500, as of 8th May, 2025.

Looks like a transcription error. If you look at the service booklet the mileage is recorded correctly there.

I can see on the service stamp that’s it’s the correct mileage from Glasgow Bentley so human error on the invoice
My mistake

The notes of last service invoice say vibration coming through steering wheel, what was that and the remedy?

The underside photos are those oil stains? Thanks

Hi JJ,

I had all wheels balanced when I bought two new rear tyres beginning of April, and there have been no oil leaks. Pictures were taken on a rainy day unfortunately.

However, I have the video health check including the underside as part of the last service with Bentley Glasgow. Here it is. All issues raised subsequently fixed.

I left the discs for now JJ as they’re still ok. I’ll be changing them next service if I’ve still got the car.

This is a V8 S model and if its running 542 bhp then its been remapped as the car has 528PS as standard.

Hello,

In the underside video of the car, it discussed the rear level bars, being seized, was that rectified at that service ?

Is it possible to view the car as I live near by your location.

Thanks

  • Sorry I re-read the Invoice and see they were sorted !

Hi Edinb, of course you can, I’m here all day, and yes, all issues in the video have been rectified.

As to the other chap about remap, I certainly haven’t touched it, and I don’t suppose Bentley would warranty it if it was. As above it’s just been serviced and warranty is intact. All details are correct to the best of my knowledge.

Hi BM man, mid June I think. I can find out exactly. I know it is renewable, the main reason I serviced it at Bentley Glasgow. They are contacting me when close to expiry. I’ll contact them now. Austyn

Hi BM,

It’s a bit better than I thought. 10th July it expires apparently.

Hope this helps

Hi - can you find out how much the renewal is?

I am very interested but 400 miles away.

I have studied the photos and video but with the car being wet its almost impossible to see any dilapidations. Can you confirm there are no dents, scratches, corrosion (they suffer on bottom of doors and front wings), etc

The back seat leather especially in the middle looks saggy and appears scratched.... and looks like alot of dog hair is in the car?

Many thanks

Ref above warranty question. I phoned them on another similar aged car last week, they only warrant up to 10 years old, they suggested a 2 year renewal at circa £5500
