Bit of a fun request looking for ideas or feedback for a Euro trip at the end of July. We need to be in Paris (Euro Disney) for a childrens dance festival on 30th July. But prior to that we have 7 days to fill somewhere. I am thinking of flying from any London airport to somewhere, then fly from there to Paris, then Paris to London on 3rd August.

Is this a bad idea? Is it an inefficient and expensive way to crack this nut?

We have the car, but seems a long way to drive to southern France then back north to Paris??
