Love this. Couldn't be temprted to put a bid in.
With the engine and gearbox swap, I thought that negates the tax and mot exemption rule?

Looks amazing but it really needs a tailgate in my opinion.

I met the owner of this one at the weekend, there's lots of really nice little details on the older ones like the "fins" on the doors and the way the light surrounds aren't just circles. His was standard engine-wise but I couldn't help wondering what a modded one with RWD might be like at the time.

We've been contacted by the builder of this fabulous machine who informs us that the power output is closer to 270bhp than the 300bhp originally stated, so have updated the listing accordingly. It's still no slouch though!

Hi, I can confirm that it is legitimately registered as a historic vehicle for tax and MOT purposes and is therefore exempt from both. Thanks

Is the clutch cable or hydraulic?

Thank you for the responses.
With the vehicle weight being relatively low, does it require such a heavy duty clutch? Could a standard clutch go in to make the pedal lighter?

As the builder, can you see any easy solution for a taller driver (6'2")?

Would replacing the steering wheel boss help or is issue primarily with pedal distance?

I'm sure you could make the clutch feel lighter with a different setup

I'm not the guy who built this, but you could make it easier for taller drivers if the seats were higher, so you have more distance from the pedals.

Just watched the video I’m 6ft do you think it will be too small if it wasn’t that comfortable for the person that made it?

Sorry for the slow reply! I'm not sure if it would be comfortable or not, I'd suggest raising/changing the seats if you were 6ft, there's currently a lot of headroom but the pedals are fairly close to the driver.
