Edinburgh restaurants near Murrayfield or Zoo

Any recommendations re the above to save us going into town every night on our break next week? Sadly no Indian due to a couple in our party.

It’s all a bit generic out that way. Dine Murrayfield is ok.. I’d get the bus for 2 quid or Uber to the west end for a lot more options. Baba is excellent, Middle Eastern. The Palmerston. £££. Teuchters for pub food.

The Torfin on St John's Road is pretty good, nice simple menu and an easy walk back to your digs.
The Bothy is along the road towards Roseburn. Further along is Dine but I haven't tried it yet.

Thanks for the replies folks. We ate at Dine on one evening, excellent! Brilliant staff and lovely food. We didn’t get to any of the other recommendations as we had an Ivy voucher to use up one evening and ate at the hotel on the other two evenings as we were too knackered or lazy to go out. Not impressed unfortunately.
No doubt we’ll be back next year to try the others.
