2025 Le Mans 24H Camping - what's the best spot?
Discussion
I've left finding accommodation too late, and so my wife and daughter have dropped out.
So now it's just my son and I, we can get a little adventurous and camp.
I'm going to try to find a camping ticket on the secondary market but a) I have no idea which campsite I should prioritise and b) where to buy on the secondary.
I want something that's close to the track, ideally with a nice view of the track, not rowdy, has excellent showers and toilets (if that's even possible!!)
What is the recommended campsite for these requirements? Is there a particular size pitch that we need to go for? I'm probably going to take a Range Rover with a roof tent and maybe an awning if I can find one that fits the car.
We're going to rock up on Friday. Possibly Thursday evening. Will we be able to secure a decent spot or will they all have been taken by then? How does it work? I assume there are ushers that guide you to a location?
Double newbie here: Le Mans + Camping in general!
So all advice is welcome. thank you.

If you want decent loos/showers & a secure campsite, someone like 1st Tickets as a PH partner would be worth a call. They've moved to Beaujour close to Porsche Curves & you can pick whether you just have a tent pitch to the option of meals & a pre-erected tent. The pitches are pre-allocated & they also have a marquee with a TV in it, WiFi and a bar.

If you wanted everyone to go, I’d personally look at Airbnb within 20-30mins of circuit. Decent accommodation for everyone and enjoy a bit of France when away from track action.
That's a great suggestion. I had assumed it wouldn't be an option because of parking close to the circuit. My wife and daughter will probably chill out in the airbnb and I'll go to the circuit with my son for a few hours at a time, and head back to the Airbnb for food and to continue watching it on TV.
I assume the best thing to do is park somewhere close to a shuttle or a tram? Is there anywhere you recommend for parking? Do I need to get a Le Mans parking ticket?

I won’t stay any further away but the drive up is very simple and faster roads. La Suze sur Sarthe was base for many years. I find approaching circuit from South gives easier options.
The road leads straight (avoiding arnage village which can get jammed up) to the exit for Expo parking. Outside of peak traffic before start it is easy coming and going. Cross the road to the main entrance then.
It’s also good access to get down to mulsanne / arnage corners.
Nice Airbnb, plenty of restaurants and shops etc.

Thank you, sir
Go onto www.justtickets.co.uk there are camping pitches avaible if none are on ecommerce email enquiries@justtickets.co.uk
Get a decent air bnb - Drive in and park near the tram stops, which could be on the other end of the lines and is easy enough.
Go in and out on tram. You'll probably get a parking ticket on the resale site if you persist too.
Go into the town on friday night, see the parade if you can and stay in the city.
