Hi Chaps
Quick question. For the first time I bought my tickets directly from the organisers of Les Mans. However I am yet to receive tickets. Typically how close to the race date do the organiser release tickets? I have downloaded the Les Mans app but am yet to receive the email confirming release of the tickets.

Did you go paper, or paperless for your LE Mans tickets?

I've had my paper tickets for months...

I was not given the option. This was the first time I bought via the website and I assumed it was paperless for everyone.

Our e-mobile tickets were downloaded in March, although the actual tickets are not currently active.

You need to download the Le Mans Tickets App, this is not the same as the Le Mans general App. You should then get an email with an activation code and then from there you can download the tickets (and transfer them to other members of your group if necessary, they will also require the Tickets App).

HTH biggrin

There was an option at the point of purchase to have either paper tickets or e-mobile tickets, the option to print your own tickets was not available for this year.

Thanks for all the details. I had already downloaded the app and it was refusing to save my profile to view the tickets. That has “as if by magic” suddenly worked after I read this (I had sent chaser emails on Friday and today so I suspect they forgot to activate my account). The only thing outstanding is the activation of all the tickets.

Does that apply for ACO member area passes or do you just show up with membership/card number to one of the areas as usual?

We are assuming so, although nothing official at this stage (as far as I recall). Last year we picked up our packs and wrist bands on Wednesday evening from the bottom of the George Durand stand. This year as we’re not stopping on site will call in Wednesday afternoon / evening to pick the bands and packs up en route to our accommodation down near Vaas.

There is a seperate ACO Members app you can download to have a virtual membership card (on Android you can also add it to your Google Wallet, not a iPhone user so can't comment on that option).
