I never believed her abuse claims, but it's nevertheless sad that she was so troubled as to do this.

Thankfully it didn’t matter whether you believed them or not. With such stand up characters on the other side of the argument, it’s highly likely her claims were based in truth. Sad end. I never believed her abuse claims, but it's nevertheless sad that she was so troubled as to do this.

Do you find it hard to believe there are mens that will groom teenagers for sex ? Or do these men just get an easy ride because they happen to be wealthy?I never believed her abuse claims, but it's nevertheless sad that she was so troubled as to do this.

I don't doubt her claims. The reported £16M settlement suggests others believed her.
I do doubt this was suicide. She previously (2019) posted “I am making it publicly known that in no way, shape, or form am I suicidal.”
A tragic and early end after years of abuse. RIP.
That was 6 years ago. I do doubt this was suicide. She previously (2019) posted “I am making it publicly known that in no way, shape, or form am I suicidal.”

I do l also don't think those claims were black and white. Still a sad ending to a clearly troubled person. When a mother isn't living with her kids it's clearly a sign there's something usual going on. I never believed her abuse claims, but it's nevertheless sad that she was so troubled as to do this.

Where were her parents when she was supposedly getting flown around the world to shag sweaty princes?
My daughter is 15. When she's 17 I'll know where she is at all times. When she's 18 she can do as she pleases. Nobody ever seems to talk about the culpability of parents in these abuse cases. Oh yes Mr Jackson please do take my 11 year old boy for a sleepover. Enjoy!

.
Sounds like since then she had been potentially violent towards her family and had been denied access to her children, an upcoming court case could have made that worse. I'm sure the police who said there were no suspicious circumstances know a bit more about it than you do.I do doubt this was suicide. She previously (2019) posted “I am making it publicly known that in no way, shape, or form am I suicidal.”

Of course some teenagers are victims of grooming, but that doesn't mean all teenagers are.greygoose said:
There seem a few millions paid out to justify her claims despite your lack of belief.
If the millions were paid out, especially those paid by Prince Andrew, I wonder where they have gone as there doesnt seem to be any particular evidence of them.I think its clear that she was abused by Epstein, she was young and impressionable at the time, and she potentially did not consider it abuse at the time. I am less convinced about some of the allegations she made about others including Prince Andrew. I can fully understand why he made a settlement to avoid going to court, in court it would have been his word against hers, so a relatively high risk of guilt whether guilty or not. There were suggestions that Prince Andrew paid millions to settle the case and if this is the case I'd be interested to know where it is. I suspect there was a fairly small payout, mainly to avoid court costs.
None of which of course avoids the fact that it is sad she has ended her life this way, especially for her children.
Her life and that of her family and children must of been very difficult with all the publicity around her time spent with Epstein.

Wasn’t she in hospital last month after being hit by a bus and only had days to live?
Yes. Said to my wife this morning it sounds like she meant more by that. Everyone assumed she had "days to live" due to the injuries, whereas maybe she meant "days to live" due to her mental state.Chrisgr31 said:

I think this is a very sensible and balanced post and sums up exactly what happened. Was there ever even proof that the photo was 100% genuine? Andrew never got a stream of follow up claims which a true wrongun would have. It was an error in judgement with the company he kept and I always thought was a bit of a poor show how he got ripped apart and humiliated for basically nothing.
