992.2 GTS - Deposit down
Discussion
So after a saga rejecting a Range Rover Sport SV, I needed to find a replacement for a large SUV, so obviously went for a 992.2 GTS (ah well my wife has a 130 defender for family duties).
After going mad on the configurator and keeping my eye on the new / used stock daily.
An unregistered 992.2 GTS came on yesterday afternoon at £20k under list, plus it had most of the ‘key options’ I was after, Inno drive, land change assist, glass roof, gts interior etc.
I reserved it online and paid the deposit this morning, I’m told they received four calls this morning from people wanting to leave a deposit (who knows if that’s true or not)
I’m slight apprehensive in going for the rwd as opposed to the awd, but I had for a little while an AMG GTS and don’t remember traction being an issue.
I’ll be using it as my daily, right decision, who knows, I’ll find out.

Seems as your story mirrors mine quite closely. I also rejected a new RR SV for numerous reasons although the ridiculous insurance premium was the final nail in the coffin. I therefore went for a 992 as a daily and I have to admit it has taken me an awful lot of getting use to, so much so that I very nearly swapped it numerous times in the first 5 months of ownership.
I am slowly but surely starting to get use to it now but I reckon that coincides with the improvement in the weather.

Crikey. Does it invade Poland? I imagine that optional extra will cost a fortune. After going mad on the configurator and keeping my eye on the new / used stock daily.
