When I first went to the old Duke of London site, I thought it was remarkable, the vibes were excellent, great people, interesting cars (some for sale that you could respectfully have a sit in), memorabilia, weird items and neon lights everywhere. A fantastic pizzeria, coffee shop and a bakery across the road (and sometimes the odd pop up van).

If you haven't been, look it up on google maps and check out the pics.

But I went to the new multi-story car park venue yesterday and I was wondering if he plans to return to the old venue or is this permanent?

The vibes were like any other generic car meet. But there were around double the amount of cars in attendance so maybe I'm in the minority here.

It was primarily cars parked on the top 4 levels of a multi-story. There was a coffee shop which had a long queue and a small amount of seating. Then at the top a African food stand and a DJ.

It still had the same great people and everyone I spoke to was super nice, but I didn't feel like I wanted to stay for very long and wouldn't have an urge to go back.

Again, it appears there were more cars there so what do I know. But if it were the case where other people feel the same then maybe he can change things up if attendance were to start dropping.

I Think the old building site was bought by a developer hence he had to move. Definitely not the same vibe but on a sunny/summers day it’s actually pretty decent

Not been to one for years, last time I saw duke I was dropping him off at goodwood after flying back from Florida

It’s good to hear they are still on, must make an effort to get back down.

Some great memories like the time we took his c3 corvette and mine out and promptly getting a ticking off from plod for some 11s left under the flyover
