Looking for an induction hob for the new kitchen. Sits on an island 3.3m by 2.2m.

Induction, extraction built in, big cooking area (enjoy it)

Kicker is I prefer a physical knob, always get wound up by touch screen. Unless the new ones are better?

I've been looking for an induction with knobs too.

Touch controls are a PITA

I can't stand the press panel type control, so purchased a Neff T69YYX4C0 which has a knob and it's brilliant
The knob is magnetically held to the hob so simplifies cleaning, and has so many other functions.

I did look at the integrated extractor option but chose the hob I did because i couldnt make the extraction work without rebuilding half of the kitchen.
It wasnt cheap at £2K but I only wanted to buy it once and be happy with it...and I am very happy.

Based on experience, if you're getting a hob with the magnet, make sure the person opening the box and installing the hob knows there's a magnet in the box too!

Nice find, edge looks a bit chunky, can it be mounted flush?

We have a similar Neff hob (without extractor) that has the magnetic puck for control - it's pretty good.

We previously had a Rangemaster range cooker with induction hob that had proper knobs and they are absolutely the preference.

The side edge is a metal strip (about 1 cm wide) that is fixed to the sides via small magnets so can be removed to clean under the sides. These edges taper down making the profile look much lower. It can't be mounted flush due these edges
