Yes it is, I often have the Skyrim soundtrack on whilst I'm working
now that's nerdy; I bought it to play on the PS5 after all those years because I'd been listening to the soundtrack.
I hope they don't mess this up somehow. I wouldn't put it past them. Otherwise, I'm really looking forward to this, only played it for a few hours back in the day in a shared house. But not one of those games I would have cause to go back to until something like this happens.
Just want some more detail about the release now

Having only played Skyrim first time round despite being old enough to have played daggerfall originally.I'm playing the OG on pc just now. But remaster of the level shown being shadow dropped is wild!
Excited though
Edit: Don't you mean 5pm. as its 5 hours time diff?

Though i have a horrible feeling this will just be a release info teaser and its not coming out for like 6 months.
I hope to be proven wrong.
A Monday release was always going to be weird. I allowed myself to get excited but Tuesday and Thursday are more normal. I do hope that it's an actual release and not an announcement though!Though i have a horrible feeling this will just be a release info teaser and its not coming out for like 6 months.
I hope to be proven wrong.

New game for sure. I guess around £20-£30?
From what I am reading it uses the original Gamebryo engine Oblivion data for the game mechanics (possible audio files too etc) and it's an Unreal Engine 5 graphics remaster on top, so it might need you to have Oblivion installed for it to work, perhaps as a contractual agreement with Bethesda. Which is exactly how the Skywind and Skyblivion mods work using the Skyrim engine and the original games are required. So Bethesda sells more Oblivion (original games) to people wanting to play the remaster which is free or a small upgrade price.Ps. Oblivion is £15.99 on Steam direct or as little as £3.49 for the Game of the Year Deluxe version which I'm sure you will need for the remaster via Fanatical - https://www.allkeyshop.com/blog/en-gb/buy-elder-sc...
If it's £20-30 plus the original game at full price so £35-£45, I think that's too expensive for an 18 year old game.

Surely not for console?
From last week."Eurogamer understands Bethesda's current plan is to shadow drop the game next week on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, including via Xbox Game Pass."
Same thing I'd guess. Game pass would include the original game.
We'll see tomorrow.
Although - "Some Steam Users Are Getting the Oblivion Remaster Added to Their Libraries"

So automatic upgrade?

I have the original physical collector's edition, but it can't be registered on Steam. Buggered if I'm going to buy it again just so I can upgrade.
Wait to see how it's going to work, as I post above it's only £3.50 to get a steam key for the deluxe version now if needed.
I did the same for Fallout 4, I had it on steam but I bought it on GOG for a couple of pounds as it didn't need editing for Fallout London to work.
