I've recently acquired a ford ranger 2018 and want to fit a kil switch. I've seen some on amazon but there are a bit obvious over the battery under the bonnet. Any suggestions please.

For what reason to prevent theft?
Stop battery going flat?

If for security, then I quite like the Micodus 4G relays. You can wire them in alongside another required power source, ignition or fuel typically and then remotely enable or disable the relay. Also gives you various tracking capabilities too.
2 downsides:
1. They do need a signal to operate them.
2. They're chinese, so the app is therefore also chinese.

I've never found 1 to be an issue - it seems quite robust
