Question for ADIs and PDIs

I have a part 3 coming up and I'm taking a full licence holder with me who passed roughly 8 months ago.
She doesn't make progress on faster roads also is missing the mirror checks approaching roundabouts and basically just needs a confidence boost.
Obviously I can't talk to her like I would one of my learners so how would you instruct a flh? Say she isn't making progress on a 60mph road would I ask a leading question or an open question?
I don't want to over instruct so not sure how to get it just right.

Open question first, then depending on her answer you may need to ask more leading questions to get to the answer you want. Who are you training with?

Circumstances have changed the full licence holder I was taking isn't available for my test day so I'm taking one of my pupils and working on effective use of mirrors instead.
I was thinking of taking my pupil on a route that has pedestrian crossings, light, roundabouts and lots of turns potentially.
Would appreciate any words of advice

Look at marking criteria. Ensure you score in every category and especially those pertaining to safety: management of risk / lesson planning / route planning. Be ready to change subject of required.
