Recommend me some horror films?

Perhaps some I haven’t heard of (or watched)? Prefer the gory remakes rather than originals, as both the picture and sound quality is literally miles better…plus usually more bloody.
Rob Zombie’s (and later) Halloween was good though, but yesterday watched both IV and V - really enjoyed them. Seemed slower and stalkier? In a good way.
Don’t think zombie ones fully qualify, as more action based? Train to Busan, Daylight’s End (with Johnny Strong) offer something different.
Wrong Turn? Only seen the first one. The rest worth it?
What’s your favourite scary movie?

RZ's Halloween remake was utter tripe. Took all that was great about the first (very little blood and great Carpenter score) and turned it into a gorefest. When I saw the white horse, I literally wanted to scream in despair. Totally wrecked a decent franchise. The last 3 are ok and at least made up for RZ's mess but nothing like the first and 4th (underrated) IMO. 2nd was ok, 3rd would have been decent if it wasn't called H3. 5th is a laugh and underrated, 6th I would locate a copy of the unofficial producers cut which is a totally different and better film than the original. H20 is decent and H:R is just ok.
Wrong Turn the original is good, the follow-ups are all OK - more of the same but with added satire? Recent remake is nothing special.
