Decent place TBF but what a state the roads are in all over and surrounds way worse than sw or Essex and speed cameras everywhere, again way worse, and the standard of driving, horrific.

I'm in manchester right now, staying in and Air BnB on the Oldham rd just out of the city cntre.

Visit from Norfolk half a dozen times a year to visit in-laws.

IMHO -
Fantastic city and would happily live here or maybe have a second home up here.
- Yeah the roads are not the best, especially the housing estates and lesser used back streets.
- Speed cameras, yeah there's quite a few but don't see it as much worse than other places.
- Standard of driving, there's good and bad wherever you go in my opinion. Haven't seen any terrible driving this week, though some loon was flying along Oldham rd at 70mph plus ( in a 30) when I looked out of my window around midnight last night.
